ARTISTS AGAINST THE BOMB is a series of posters that advocates for universal nuclear disarmament. It comprises more than 200 historiacl and newly commissined works that constitute a cultural history of desarmament movements, featuring works by artists, musicians, writers, and activists.
ARTISTS AGAINST THE BOMB is designed for maximal agility and economic effectiveness, relying on a black and white palette both for its impact and easy reproduction.
We asked artists to ensure their works can exist on a variety of supports, ephemera such as posters, postcards, billboards, banners, flags, t-shirts and social media posts, as we aspire to archive the widest possible circulation of this message.
It is organized by Estudio Pedro Reyes in collaboration with ICAN International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, to support the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).
